local sites for the town(s) I plan to visit.
I also track down anybody I know who is local to the area. I hate going to touristy places -- they're always so cheesy and expensive. I want a burger where the locals get one. I want to find a t-shirt at that vintage clothing store on the other side of the town from the airport or train station.
