As much as it shames me to admit this, there isn't really any excuse for this to be as late as it is, but it is. There are a few reasons I could use, but honestly, it just feels like a cop-out, as perfectly valid as those reasons appear on paper, were they to come from another.

I decided to do something different withthis one, and so it's all instrumentals and minimal-voice pieces.

Also, I have no excuse for uploading 30 November's cast again last week. I just fixed that.

To both listeners, if you're hoping for Christmas music, I'm going to put that off until December 21 -- in theory, I could do a new cast of Christmas music every week, and have it all different, but I want to save stuff for next year.

As for this week's set, I know I don't like to do any one band two weeks in a row, and i think I did that last week, too, but sometimes a set works best with a specific song or two, and it cannot be helped.

youngsoulrebel: I seriously ran to the shower and had a good cry. Yes, just like in _The Crying Game_ only without the trannies.
theattackpanda: haven't seen it
youngsoulrebel: Honestly? I've only seen it cos Neil Jordan fascinates me.

youngsoulrebel: ...not necessarily in a good way, though; I think he's clinically insane.

youngsoulrebel: Anybody who would even consider making a film version of Patrick McCabe's _The Butcher Boy_ has to be certifiable.

Four hours ago -- redemption:
youngsoulrebel: so, according to a sourced statement on Wikipaedia, Morrissey is finally in a sexual relationship, but he won't say with who or even what gender this person is.
theattackpanda: wow.
youngsoulrebel: Am I alone in thinking he's secretly fucking a cheeseburger?
theattackpanda: ...
theattackpanda: literally?
youngsoulrebel: Think about it! He's heard "If Morrissey would only have a cheeseburger and a good lay..." for YEARS. He can kill two birds with one stone this way.
youngsoulrebel: He goes out to the McDonald's drive-thru wearing a ski mask (so no-one recognises him), and comes home to a candle-lit apartment, playing "How Soon Is Now?" on repeat with his iTunes....

youngsoulrebel: ....pours himself a glass of red wine -- he's gotta romance the Double Quarter Pounder
youngsoulrebel: ...kisses the bun tenderly before spreading that hot cheese-gooey meat for Little Moprrissey to have a turn at the romance...
